Fly Solartech Solutions has developed a lightweight cylindrical solar panel that can be integrated onto street lighting poles powered by photovoltaic energy in various sizes.
The Fly Solartech module is encapsulated in thermoformable technical plastic polymers and mounted on a black backsheet. It is available in three versions with power outputs of 100 W, 120 W, and 240 W.

This innovative product combines the high efficiency of crystalline cells (up to 23.4%) with a rounded shape that, thanks to Fly Solartech’s revolutionary production system, allows the panel to be formed and shaped into its cylindrical structure—perfect for both public and private solar lighting applications—while preserving cell integrity.

The thermoformable production system allows the product to be molded into its cylindrical shape without internal micro-cracks, maintaining a curvature range fully compatible with the cells’ mechanical limits.

The product is divided into two halves that are assembled together to wrap around the pole. Each half consists of two non-interconnected cell strings, each with its own junction box.
This configuration enables multiple cylindrical modules to be distributed around the same pole and connected in series, maximizing energy production through multi-channel Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT).

Each cylinder is secured by two external fixing collars at the ends of the panel and two side guides that allow precise closure of the two halves.
Its cylindrical shape provides high resistance to strong winds, while its vertical installation minimizes the accumulation of dirt, sand, and snow. The product can also be manufactured with a protective anti-reflective coating, enabling its use on roads and highways where glare-free solutions are required.

The panels currently used for public lighting are typically standard flat panels installed at the top of the pole. This often prevents installation on existing poles, as specific lamps and pole designs are required.
Additionally, these systems involve higher cleaning costs and, being positioned horizontally at significant heights, become easy perches for birds and are prone to snow accumulation during winter.

Universal Applications

Easy Pole can be used with any type of pole and is designed to allow installation without any prior disassembly.

Easy to Clean

Dust accumulation on the surface is significantly lower than on standard solar panels. Maintenance personnel can easily clean the system from the ground using a long-handled brush.

Modular Installation

The cylindrical photovoltaic module is based on a modular design concept, enabling easy installation and removal.

High Wind and
Snow Resistance

The cylindrical design reduces wind resistance area, and each module is fixed directly to the pole with 12 screws, ensuring superior wind resistance.

Lightweight and Ultra-Thin

Our solution weighs less than half of comparable products on the market, thanks to years of accumulated know-how.

All-Day Charging

Six thin solar panels are mounted on a hexagonal frame, ensuring that at least 50% of the total surface area is always facing the sun throughout the day.
